The German Association of Orthopaedic Technology (Bundesinnungsverband für Orthopädie-Technik), as the conceptual partner of OTWorld, and the OT publishing house (Verlag Orthopädie-Technik) award three prizes among the free paper submissions. Prizes will be awarded for the best free paper, the best ePoster and the best paper submitted by a young professional. The prizes are endowed with € 500 each. On the basis of the evaluations made in the peer review process, an evaluation committee will decide upon the award winners. All abstracts that have been submitted will automatically take part in the competition. Young prosthetists and orthotists, individuals who are still studying or in training and assistant physicians up to the age of 27 qualify for the Young Professional Award. If you as an author meet the criteria for young professionals, please confirm this here.
